Custom domains on ZebraSnap
Use your own domain — apex or subdomain — for your photographer profile and albums. What it does, who can use it, what we manage for you.
What it is
By default your portfolio lives at zebrasnap.com/your-username. With a custom domain it can live at yourname.com (or gallery.yourname.com if you prefer a subdomain). All of your existing photo URLs continue to work — and we 301-redirect the old URLs to the new ones, so you keep your SEO.
Who can use it
Custom domains are included in PRO and Enterprise plans.
If you downgrade, your domain stays online for 14 more days while we email you reminders. After that we pause it and your portfolio goes back to zebrasnap.com/your-username automatically. If you upgrade again, the domain reactivates without you doing anything.
What we handle
- HTTPS / SSL — automatic, renewed forever, free.
- Routing — your homepage, folders, albums, and OG images all served from your domain.
- Caching — same as the rest of ZebraSnap; your photos stay fast.
- DNS verification — we re-check your records daily and warn you if something breaks.
What we don't touch
- Your email. We don't host email and we don't change MX records — keep your current email setup as-is.
- Other websites. We only add the records we ask you to add.
