Every discount type now explains exactly how it charges, per-photo pricing arrives, an optional cap per package, and real savings shown in the cart.
Setting up discounts no longer leaves room for doubt: each type explains how it charges and shows you a preview of the result ("They'll pay $237 total when buying 3 photos or more"). We're introducing the per-photo price discount ("3+ photos at $79 each") and an optional photo cap, so a "5 photos for $600" package doesn't apply to purchases of 20.
Your buyers now see the real savings in the cart, get a nudge when they're a few photos away from completing a package, and a new help center article explains every discount type.

Keeping the platform safe benefits everyone: anyone can now report a photo, an album or an event from the public pages, no account needed, choosing between inappropriate content, copyright or another reason. Our team receives every report instantly and reviews it.
The Lightroom plugin now uploads several photos in parallel — much faster exports — and lets you know when a new version is out.
If you publish from Lightroom you'll notice the difference: the plugin uploads up to 4 photos at the same time instead of one by one, so large exports finish much sooner. And so you don't miss improvements like this one, the plugin lets you know when a new version is ready to download in the downloads section.

If you sell from a country our payments couldn't reach, you can now connect your own Stripe account and start selling. You keep 100% of every sale: instead of a commission, you pay a flat subscription, with a 15-day free trial.
Payments go straight to your Stripe account and you're the merchant of record. Set it up in Settings → Payouts.
Upload MP4 videos alongside your photos and sell them the same way — they play and download from the same gallery.
You can now upload MP4 videos to your albums and sell them just like your photos. Your buyers play and download them from the same gallery, and they get the original file exactly as you uploaded it.
On the Pro and Enterprise plans, your videos are also found by selfie and bib number, just like your photos — so your athletes go straight to their videos without digging through the whole event.
If you sell free albums, your visitors can download the photos without going through the cart.
If you sell free albums (available on paid accounts), you can now turn on "Allow direct downloads". Your visitors see a download button instead of the add-to-cart one and grab the photos directly — with your post-sale watermark if you have it set up.
Turn on a post-sale watermark so the files your buyers download carry your brand. Off by default.
By default, the photos your clients buy are delivered exactly as you uploaded them, with no watermark baked in. If you'd rather have your brand travel with every sale, the watermark settings now include a new Post-sale watermark tab where you set text or logo, position, opacity and rotation, independent from your album watermark.
The watermark is applied when the buyer's download is prepared, so if you tweak the settings after a sale, earlier orders keep the file they already had.
Share your invite link: when a photographer you invited makes their first sale, you both get credit that waives ZebraSnap's commission on your sales.
You now have a rewards program. From the rewards section in your settings you'll find your code and invite link to bring other photographers on board. When someone you invited makes their first sale, you get credit and they get a welcome bonus too.
That credit works on its own: on your next sale it automatically waives ZebraSnap's commission (never the payment processing fee, and it never costs your buyer more), so you keep a bigger share. You can also top up with promo codes and see every movement with its reason in your history.
Filter your sales by order number, buyer name or email, or album title — on the web and in the app.
When you rack up hundreds of sales, finding a single one used to mean endless scrolling. Now there's a search box on your sales list and on each album's orders: type the order number, the buyer's name or email, or the album title, and the list filters instantly.
It works the same in the mobile app, so you can answer a client's question from wherever you are.

Your portfolio can now live on your own domain. Connect one you already own — like yourdomain.com or photos.yourdomain.com — or buy a fresh one from the domains section. Athletes and clients find you under your name, not a ZebraSnap URL, and sharing your portfolio feels natural — a link people actually remember.

We lowered the free plan commission from 17% to 16% — more margin on every photo sold, with nothing to do on your side.
The free plan now charges 16% commission on every sale, down from 17%. It applies automatically starting with your next payout — nothing to switch on.

We redesigned the public events page so your athletes can spot your race among thousands. More compact cards with a readable date, a clear location, and a representative photo when one exists — they scan more events per scroll and recognize yours before they give up.
The country and state filter has been merged into a single combobox with text search. If an athlete from another country is hunting for your event, they type "Mex", "Chile", "Esp" and the matching options pop up — no more wrestling with two chained selects or an endless scroll of flags.
On mobile the filter toolbar stays anchored at the top while they scroll, so they don't lose the filter while exploring cards. In practice: less drop-off and more athletes who actually make it to your album.

Your public profile gets a new design built to showcase your work. A wide cover photo, your best albums up front, contact info, and links to your socials — a clean layout that feels more personal site than platform page. Combined with folders, it works as a portfolio you can send straight to a potential client.
Every place fees show up now displays them in full, including what Stripe charges. We also opened a help center with worked examples.
We made another pass over every spot where a fee shows up — pricing, estimated payout, sales panel, plan settings — and made sure the number you see is the full one. It now explicitly includes what the payment processor (Stripe) charges on top of ZebraSnap's commission, so you can work out your margin without surprises.

If an athlete bundles photos from different photographers, we now warn them before checkout so there are no download surprises.
From the event view, athletes can add every photo they appear in across multiple albums — including yours.
The public event page now treats every linked album as a single experience. When an athlete searches by selfie or by bib number, they see every match across albums and can add them all to the cart with a single "add all" button — no jumping from album to album.
If you have an active promo on the event, it shows up at the top of the same page right when they're about to buy. Less friction for them, more sales for you.
Lock galleries with a password so only the right athletes see their photos.
You can now lock any album with a password and share it with the athletes who should see the photos. The gallery still lives at a public URL, but previews show up blurred and no one can search, view, or buy until they unlock it.
It's perfect for private events, corporate sessions, and pre-launch campaigns where you want to control who walks in. You manage the password from the album panel and can change it anytime — athletes who already entered keep their session, and the new password only applies to anyone trying to get in afterwards.
Switching language or toggling light/dark now lives in the main mobile menu, not in settings.
We rebuilt the home, the blog, and the rest of the site on a single platform — with full dark mode throughout.
After months of work, ZebraSnap has a new website. The new home puts search front and center — two big buttons so your athletes find their photos by selfie or by event without having to navigate. The blog moved over too, with a clean reader and related posts at the end.
The whole site honors automatic dark mode and runs on a unified design system, so every new page feels coherent with the rest of ZebraSnap.
Group your albums into folders and show them as curated sections on your public profile.
You can now group your albums into folders — by season, sport, client, whatever makes sense to you. Create and manage them from "My albums", picking which albums belong to each.
The good part: folders also surface as organized sections on your public profile, so visitors see your work curated by you, not by chronological order.

We added a few layers to protect your photos in public albums: right-click blocked, dragging disabled, and an overlay over previews so they can't be captured cleanly. The legitimate buyer still gets zoom, large preview, and high-quality download once they've paid.

Each album has its own sort setting. You can sort by capture date (the natural order for a race), by file name (handy when shots come from multiple numbered cameras), or set a manual order.
The setting is saved per album, so different events can use different sorts without you ever revisiting them.

The mobile app now ships with full dark mode. It follows the system by default, but you can force light or dark from settings.
