When do I get paid?
The weekly payout schedule, why your first payout takes longer, and what to check if the money has not landed yet.
At a glance
You never have to request your earnings - payouts are automatic:
- An athlete buys your photos and the money (minus fees) lands in your balance.
- Each sale settles for about 5 days before it becomes eligible for payout.
- Every Monday we send your eligible balance to your bank account.
- Your bank credits the transfer - usually 1-2 business days, longer for international transfers.

Your first payout takes longer
The first payout of every new account goes through extra verification by our payment processor. It typically arrives 7 to 14 days after your first sale - noticeably slower than the weekly rhythm you'll see afterwards.
This only happens once. After the first deposit clears, payouts settle into the normal weekly cycle.
"It says the payout was sent, but it's not in my bank"
A payout marked as sent has already left your balance, but banks still need time to credit it:
- Domestic transfers usually show up in 1-2 business days.
- International transfers - the case for most countries in Latin America, for example - can take 2 to 5 additional business days.
- Look for a statement entry from STRIPE; the deposit doesn't say "ZebraSnap".
If a payout still hasn't arrived after 5 business days, verify your bank details (see the FAQ below) and contact us - we'll track it down.
Where to check your payouts
Go to Settings → Receive Payments and open your payments dashboard from there. You'll see every payout with its amount, status, estimated arrival date, and the bank account it went to.
We also send you a notification when a payout starts processing and another when it's sent.
FAQ
I sold this week - why wasn't everything in Monday's payout? Each sale settles for about 5 days first. Sales from the last few days roll into next Monday's payout.
Can I change the schedule? Payouts go out weekly on Mondays for everyone. There's nothing you need to configure or request.
What if my bank details are wrong? The payout fails and the money returns to your balance - nothing is lost. Update your bank account from Settings → Receive Payments and the funds go out with the next weekly payout.
In which currency am I paid? In your bank account's currency. If your sales are in another currency, the conversion happens automatically - details in Commissions and fees.
