Rewards and referrals on ZebraSnap

At a glance

Every photographer gets ZebraSnap credit they can earn and spend. Credit doesn't go to your bank — it's applied automatically at checkout to waive ZebraSnap's commission on a sale, so you net more from it. Athletes don't earn rewards; this is for photographers only.

Your referral code

You get a short referral code and link in Settings → Rewards. Share it with other photographers. When someone registers with your code, they're linked to you as your invitee.

When rewards unlock

Rewards aren't paid just for signing up — they unlock on the invitee's first sale. The moment a photographer you invited makes their first sale:

• You (the inviter) earn $50 in credit.
• The photographer you invited earns a $25 welcome bonus on that same sale.

Amounts are in US dollars and may vary; the current values live in your Rewards settings.

Other ways to get credit

• Promo codes from the ZebraSnap team — redeem them in Settings → Rewards.
• Manual credit added by ZebraSnap (for example, support adjustments).

How credit is spent

Credit is spent automatically at checkout. When an athlete buys one of your photos, your available credit is applied against ZebraSnap's commission on that sale — not the Stripe processing fee. The buyer never pays more because of it; credit only reduces what ZebraSnap keeps, so more of the sale lands with you.

Refunds

If a sale that used credit is refunded, the credit is clawed back so balances stay accurate.

Where do I find my code? In Settings → Rewards, along with your current balance and history.

Does the buyer pay more when I use credit? No. Credit only lowers ZebraSnap's commission; it can never increase what the athlete pays.
